My Day – Thursday 6th November 2008

HIT training tonight and I managed to get the intensity just about right on most lifts. I decided to trial using a machine for a couple of the lifts as I can get lots of weight on it while remaining safe. I’m hoping that by the end of the 4th session of HIT, I will be in a position to start posting my workout logs in my blog. I just need to settle into this new way of lifting (for me).

Nutrition was great today. I’m cycling calories so my HIT days contain plenty of good food. I can factor in Eat Stop Eat to balance out my overall caloric deficit, while providing my body with good calories on my training days.

  2. Are those weights in KG or LBS? If they are in LBS you are hitting some HUGE lifts. What tempo are you using on the lifts?

  5. Hey Mike, yep those are pounds. Still got room to go up on a few of those lifts as I’m just getting used to the single intense set. Get set to see these weights increase!

  8. Hey thanks Danny! Yep, I’m sure hoping to get the numbers going up, I love lifting heavy, so this plan really appeals to me.
