Day 375: Day 4 of 53 – November 12th 2008

Day 375

Day 375

My Day

Something snapped today! I’ve realised that I have not been putting everything I can into my physique transformation. Sure, I’ve done okay since starting this blog, but I’ve kind of slowed down now. Why? I don’t really know. Those who know me, know that I’m constantly looking for something different. “What are you doing this week?” or “I give up trying to work out what you are eating” are things I often hear. I’ll try a new way of eating, get bored after two days and try something else. How many ebooks have I purchased relating to eating? Quite a few. In fact, I know what to do, so why am so easily lead off the path to success? Time to take control and get on with it! No unnecessary changes from now on. Stick to the simple approach.

Training I’m a little better at, although I still get bored after a few weeks of the same regime.

I did 60 minutes of cardio after work.

  1. Ok then. I’m going to hold you to that. Any more program changes and you’ll have to deal with me and big stick. ;)

  2. I know what you mean…read my blog…Carlos had some words for me on that very subject. It’s a couple of days back, the one about boredom and I think the one right before that. Helped me a lot.

  3. I forgot about the “Accountability Stick”. Thanks for reminding me Lilla!

  4. I read those entries Shari and could totally understand where you were coming from. Time to stick to the plan!

  5. MIke I can so relate!! I do good for a while then I just stop for a week or two..i guess I am getting bored too. or i just lose focus too easy by life’s issues! if it helps, I believe you can make a major transformation and achieve your dream body!

  6. Hey Suzette. It’s not that I stop for any extended time, but I do tend to go good for two or three days and then have a bad night. I tend to crave things at night time. I then go good for another few days and then have another bad night. This seems to be enough to keep me from progressing as I would like. Put simply I go two steps forward and one step back.

  7. Mike, this is EXACTLY why I’ve been using the modified Anabolic Diet approach. I truly believe that when we try this or that nutrition plan it is never realistic and we can never truly stick to it. The Anabolic Diet has allowed me to be careful about what I eat Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and then I eat whatevver I want Friday, Saturday and Sunday. My only requirement on weekends is to stick to the calories and to be as close to my target ratios as possible. It works because it is much more relaxed than most plans. I know you still fast, but I strongly disagree with fasting (more so now than I did 200+ days ago when the topic was being discussed). The body builder’s body needs fuel all day every day!

  8. Hi Mike, I think I’ve got it pretty well sorted now, just need the consistency.

Not sure I (or Brad Pilon) agree with your take on fasting though! :)
