Day 404: Day 33 of 53 – December 11th 2008

Day 404
My Day
Had a great break from training today. I’m back training 4 days per week and doing Mon, Tues, Wed & Fri. After 3 days of hard work in the gym, I’m ready for a day of rest. My nutrition has been exemplary so I’m really happy with that! The weekend will be a test as I’m hosting the guys from work for a barbeque. The plan is that I’ll be cooking up some chicken thighs (these taste great on the bbq).
M1 – 2 scoops protein, handful almonds
M2 – 2 scoops protein, 2 slices sprouted grain bread + vegemite.
M3 – chicken & rice
M4 – 2 scoops protein, 1 slice sprouted grain bread
M5 – protein bar + almonds, sultanas. (maybe a few too many almonds!!)
M6 – Fish & Salad
Weight
6lbs down!
10 Dec – 230lbs 11 Dec – 230lbs (-6lbs)

Good work Mike!
How many calories are you getting a day? Your meal plan looks like it would be low, but perhaps I have it wrong.
Today (no workout) is up around 2100 calories. Workout days adds about another 500-600 calories. So it’s not too bad. I usually ESE today, but I felt I needed the nutrition after 3 days of intense training.
Hi Mike, Congrats on the 400 days MASSIVE milestone!!!. Sorry a little late but been crazy times with lead up to Christmas. Any tips on managing your nutrition are happily received by me! I am training like a man possesed but my eating/drinking habits are my biggest challenge. I will keep a close eye on your nutrition and results for anything I can use.
Cheers Phil
Great to hear from you Phil! Stay tuned to my blog as I will detail what I’m doing with my nutrition from now on. I still struggle with nutrition and I’m sure the Christmas season will see a few “extras” happening, but that’s life!
Thanks for the encouragement – I’m getting back on track – it’s funny how sliding perpetuates sliding and tightening up inspires same.
You’re doing great, and thanks for your faithful daily posts.
Great with the nutrition thing!! Good job! It’s good to post your meals, and weight!! … have a nice rest from the weights!
Thanks Celina. I think the accountability of posting meals and my weight is applying that positive pressure I’ve been looking for.
Wow, that some squeaky clean mutritional eating – awesome, and congrats on your fat loss. Lokking good!
Thanks Diane! Nutrition has been great this week.
Nice job, Mike.
Mike, great to see you posting regularly again mate! Thanks for your continued friendship.
